Originally from the San Francisco Bay are, Ken discovered at a very early age how a little mortician's wax and some stage blood could get him out of class. Ken is a graduate of The Institure of Studio Makeup LTD in Hollywood, CA, and has been a professional makeup artist for over 22 years. Since moving from Los Angeles to Nashville in 1997, Ken has done makeup for film, theatre, music videos, special events, and is a regular in-house makeup artist for Performance Studios Nashville. Ken is also a drummer and has played in the Nashville area with Kimberley Dhame (Boston), Walter Egan, Gary Talley (Box Tops), Teddy Larkin, The Reigning Hounds, and is presently recording and performing with the band Xilehom. One of Ken's greatest joys is teaching beginning stage makeup at the Kids on Stage Summer Academy in historic Leiper's Fork, TN and loves being involved with student productions at Watkins College of Art, Design and Film.
